[So. This was a thing he had to deal with now.
Akira blinked and so did the girl in the mirror. He fixed his glasses and so did the girl. And then when he looked down at himself and the breasts that now stuck awkwardly out of his chest, they matched the ones that the girl had and. Well. Yes. It seemed official. He'd woken up one random morning and fate had thrown him another curveball. He'd...turned into a girl.
Morgana thought he looked cute. Akira thought about pushing Morgana out of the window.
Fairly quickly he decided that school wasn't going to happen today and he called out sick, spending most of the morning on google with various searches for random gender change. Which brought him either to weird hentai drawings or people's strange blogs, or both, but no closer to any explanation. Morgana, perched on top the TV, supposed it was the side-effect of some Shadow - "Did you touch anything weird in Mementos, maybe?" - which really was as good an explanation as any. He dug around in his desk for a rubber band because his hair, passed shoulder-length, kept getting in the way of his eyes and glasses. The Phantom Thieves' group chat kept going off. Akira responded mostly in emoticons, not sure what to say.
But by the end of the day, not closer to anything near 'Okay', he still pulled on a hoodie and the smallest pair of shoes he owned (actually, probably Futaba's, that she's left in his room for no good reason). Snuck out the window and headed off towards the school he'd spent the day skipping out of, clutching his phone like a lifeline, jumping whenever it went off with a buzz. Because even without a single clue what to do about tomorrow, or the next day, or about how he could get his proverbial-and-literal manhood back, he knew what he wanted.
And it was to see Haru, and talk to her. Akira felt better just being near Haru.
He sent her a text, telling her please wait outside of school. Even though he hung out in the shadow by the school gate, heart in his throat. Not even realizing some dudes were calling out at him because they kept using cutie. And, well. Maybe he should have gone into Mementos to touch weird stuff until one of them fixed things back to normal.]
